DVC Features
What is Digital Video Commander (DVC)?
DVC is ...
- a fully digital content distribution network
- a digital video recording and distribution network
- a digital camera management system
- a digital signage system (noticeboard)
- a control system
- a technology backbone
DVC is a fully digital content distribution network.
DVC allows users to record, edit, manage, play and view content on any PC or display device such as a TV, Plasma etc. DVC streams to 256 viewing locations per server.
Multiple ‘add-on' functions make the DVC outstanding value for money:
DVC is a digital video distribution network.
Centrally housed analogue devices, such as DVD players, VCR's, satellite receivers etc, can stream live to any PC or TV. The built-in CommBox technology allows users to control the device they are watching from their viewing location.
DVC is a digital camera management system.
Connect up to 256 digital cameras to your LAN/PC Network, stream live to any PC or TV or record to the built in 5TB - 17TB storage.
DVC is a digital signage system (noticeboard)
‘Digital signage' for commercial markets, ‘noticeboard' for education. Send any content at any time to any location. DVC even allows features, such as split screen, to send multiple content formats at one time. The built-in CommBox control ensures that display devices are automatically turned on/off when messages/content is sent.
DVC is a control system.
The built in CommBox control technology means that all room equipment such as a plasma, projector, lights, air conditioners, amplifiers etc can be centrally managed. Imagine being able to schedule all rooms to shut down automatically at night.
DVC is a technology backbone.
No matter where it is installed, DVC becomes a technology backbone for your environment. Simply add-on future additions such as security packages, VOIP etc. as it's required.
